I'm new here.

I downloaded the Visual Simon task, but it's not working right.

If you don't always push the button during the experiment at the right time, that means, if you miss to push it once, then it's getting into a loop situation and runs the experiment endless.

Can somebody help me and tell me if and how I can fix that?

From the comments at the top of the script:

  "The experiment begins with eight practice trials, and participants must complete all eight trials success-
    fully to proceed to the experimental trials. If a mistake is made, participants are given additional prac-
    tice trials until all eight trials are completed without error."

It's not a bug, it's how the script is supposed to work.
