Does this mean the server is down?

I Was ready to launch a study this afternoon (UK time), and I'm getting the following error message window:

'Inquisit encountered errors while attempting to run this study.' Unable to open file [the name and location of my main script file]'

I also noticed that strangely the script details has had some brackets inserted after its name. Any ideas what this could be about? Are the servers down?

I deregistered and reregistered the script and it's working again. I now see the script displays our email addresses in brackets (which I guess accounts for why there were empty brackets on my script before).

So if anyone else is encountering scripts breaking today - I suggest you de- and re-register them otherwise you might lose some participants.

As far as I can see from the internal logs, it seems you deleted (perhaps by accident?) the script in question, so that would explain the error.

(Or perhaps you are talking about an entirely different script than in previous threads. In that case, disregard the above. I have know way of knowing what was wrong then, I'm afraid.)

No, I deleted the script to reregister it when it hadn't worked after repeated attempts. It looked like the new feature of having email addresses placed next to the script name was being implemented, so perhaps something to do with that. Who knows, it's working now either way. Thanks for help.
