Hello everybody,
in the web script: http://research.millisecond.com/psyinstmzweb2/MWTB.web we are having problems with color reproduction. The problem is illustrated by the attached files. The problem only occurs on certain machines. Has anybody seen anything like this?
Best wishes Malte

We have seen a few instances over the years. The issue is most likely due to a buggy graphics card driver on those machines. Updating the driver to the latest one available from the vendor should fix it.

Thanks very much for responding. Alas, I find the graphics driver explanation not entirely convincing.
The PC is a bootcamp installed iMac 27" with up-to-date drivers. The computer is in heavy use with all sorts of software, ranging from image processing to coding environments to video editing. In zero other applications (web or offline) have we witnessed any problems with color reproduction so far.
So, yes, while there may be a problem with the graphics driver, this problem shows up nowhere else but the Inquisit web player. To me, this seems like a strong hint that at least part of the reason lies in the programming of the web player. Maybe you can have another look at how the rendering engine is implemented.
Kind regards Malte

I am 99.99% certain -- based on previous cases -- that it's the graphics driver. It isn't an issue of color reproduction. The problem is that the driver does not render the 5 differently colored images to the screen, but instead erroneously reproduces an image it has already loaded.
Hope this helps.
