We are using the web scripts for Inquisit 5 and some of our participants--rough estimate of about 10%--are emailing us saying they are being brought to a page that says "access denied". Im not sure what information is relevant to the issue so I will provide it upon request. I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on the issue.

What's the URL of the respective web experiment and how do you direct participants there? If you, for example, forward participants to the launch page from somewhere else (e.g. a 3rd party online survey or panel platform), chances are high that there's a mistake in your redirection logic that leads to participants being directed to an invalid URL. Screenshots showing the "Access Denied" message (inlcuding the full address in the browser's address bar) may also be helpful.

Thanks for the quick reply. We are emailing the link to participants. I followed up with the most recent case and it appears that it may be caused by the service they are using to access their email. Although I may need to investigate further to be sure.

That makes sense and is a definite possibility. They may use some security product that messes with links or an email client that "breaks" links spanning multiple lines. In both cases, they would not land at the actual URL / launch page, but some other invalid location.
