task crashing on iPad Pro but not standard iPad

Hi, 

I'm running these two scripts on iPads.

They work fine on a iPad 3rd gen, but they both crash, at different trials, on an iPad Pro (2nd gen) and an iPad mini (not sure what version). It is quite obvious that the task runs faster and smoother on the iPad Pro, likely because of the better processor, but it's not clear why the task crashes on the iPad Pro and iPad mini. 

All iPad are running the newest Inquisit Player versions.
