waiting for fMRI trigger pulse

Dear reader,
we would like to run inquisit in parallel to an fMRI sequence. Therefore the script should wait for 1 (ideally the first 4) triggers that are sent from the scanner to the stimulus computer via the LPT port. In the manual of inquisit 5 we noticed the documentation on how to sent LPT port triggers, but I am unsure how the code would look like if we need to wait for incoming signals .Could you provide us with a link to further information or help out with an example?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes,
Simone

You can have trials wait for incoming signals before starting via /pretrialsignal: https://www.millisecond.com/support/docs/v5/html/language/attributes/pretrialsignal.htm
