Headphone and volume

Hi,
Please guide me to links/scripts if these questions have been addressed before.
I want participants to use headphone and keep the volume settings as same for all.

Is there a way to know that respondents are using headphones indeed and not speakers? Or, abort the script unless headphone is jacked in?
Also, is there a way to know the volume settings of respondents in the recorded data? (so that we can filter results later on)

Thanks

The answer to your questions is no, there is no way for Inquisit to determine whehter headphones are plugged in or what the system's exact volume settings are.
