Good morning,
I'm collating all my data from a few inquisit web experiments, one of them being the emotion dot probe task.
The user manual reports that the attention bias measures are labelled 'AB_Negative' and 'AB_Positive' in the data set. However, mine are labelled 'AB_Category1' and 'AB_Category2'.
Does anyone know which category corresponds to which attention bias measure (i.e. AB negative=category 1)?
Thanks in advance, Hannah

Thanks in advance, Hannah This sounds like you gathered that data using one of the "generic" dot probe templates: https://www.millisecond.com/download/library/v6/dotprobe/genericdotprobe_images/genericdotprobe_images/genericdotprobe_images.manual https://www.millisecond.com/download/library/v6/dotprobe/genericdotprobe_words/genericdotprobe_words/genericdotprobe_words.manual
Regarding what category 1 and 2 represent in your case, you'll have to consult the actual script you used to collect the respective data.

+x Thanks Dave,
What should I look for in the script to understand the labels?

+x+x Thanks Dave, What should I look for in the script to understand the labels? Well, look at the items in <item Category1Target_words> and <item Category2Target_words> for starters.
