Trouble with video streaming and Inquisit webplayer

Hi all,
Am hoping for some advice about video issues for an online Inquisit task. I've chosen mp4 as it is apparently the most common video format to be played by browsers. The video embedded in the task works perfectly with Inquisit 6 on all local computers (PCs and Macs) that I have tested. However, on those some computers, the video will not play in the Online Web Player version of the task (am getting errors about it being invalid media, failed to load source). Any advice? Screen shot of the error attached.

Update: I converted to .wmv but even on my Windows machine I cannot play the file within Inquisit web player (works fine in local Inquisit). Getting same error messages.

So as others have mentioned codecs I converted the mp4 to another mp4 but using the mpeg4 video code and mp3 audio codec. This seems to now work in the Inquisit web player (although the quality of the video is terrible).
