Screen blip issue

https://forums.millisecond.com/Topic34040.aspx

By alisonmarie526 - 3/9/2022

I am developing an experimental task on Inquisit, and one issue that I've noticed is that when the playing the game, the screen "blips" or there is a very brief moment in which the screen goes black between different trial types. This issue occurs even when I have set the stimuli drawn on the screen to be erase = false. For context, here is script for a set of three trials in which this occurs. Any thoughts on how to avoid this error are highly appreciated!

If the screen "blips" that means some stimulus is erased, i.e. its /erase attribute is not set to false. Since you have not provided the code for all the stimulus elements displayed by those trials, I cannot tell you which stimulus element or elements are misconfigured.

Provide runnable code as well as all files the code requires to run, please.

In the process of pairing down the code to post here, I realized what image had not erase = false included. After making this change, the screen blipping issue disappeared! Thanks for the input. :)
