Hello,
I read through the "How to Interoperate Inquisit Web with Online Survey Packages such as Qualtrics and Survey Monkey" (https://www.millisecond.com/support/docs/current/html/howto/interopsurveys.htm) but I am still confused. I am attempting to add two Inquisit scripts onto my Qualtrics survey and I am not sure how to best keep the participants data organized.

https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/rich-content-editor/insert-a-hyperlink/ appears to cover everything that's relevant on the Qualtrics-side. You'll want to pay attention to
since you'll want to use piped text to insert the given participant's ID and pass it along in a URL parameter (which is the same thing as a Query String). You'll also want the links to open in a new tab or window, such that the Qualtrics survey itself remains open and active in its own window or tab.

If i have the links open to a new tab/window, then do I not need to redirect the inquisit back to Qualtrics after completing the task?

So I don't need to have the inquisit task redirect them back to qualtrics if I have the link opened on a different tab/webpage?

In the single survey option you're not doing any redirection at all. Not from Qualtrics to Inquisit, not from Inquisit to Qualtrics. You have the Inquisit tasks open in a new tab, the Qualtrics tab remains open, and people simply go back there and move on with the survey.

The reading and videos that I have found only have people putting in whatever they want. For instance if I wrote Charlie and gave that embedded link to Charlie, then his responses would be recorded under that ID. But I am confused as to what to put there if I want it random. I will be distributing this survey out to random people.

No. Why would you put a link to your Qualtrics survey? That does not make sense. Your link target needs to be to the respective Inquisit tasks launch page. And as for
> (WHAT GOES HERE?).
what goes there is the Qualtrics piped text code for the field containing the participant's ID. So, the link target will have to be something like

I'm sorry, but these are really Qualtrics questions, I'm not sure I can help you any further.
