Dear Community
I have a question regarding the use of the Inquisit Task App. We plan to have 80 people simultaneously click on a link to an Inquisit task. The Inquisit app will be installed, and participants will complete the tasks. Are there any concerns that the Inquisit server might crash or that downloading may pose challenges due to the simultaneous activities of so many people?
Best regards, Vali

Best regards, Vali No, 80 people participating simultaneously in a web experiment do not pose any concern or challenge on the server-side. Depending on where those 80 participants are located and the size / volumne of the experimental materials (e.g. all in the same room, perusing the same local network, experiment involves 100s of MBs of image or video stimuli), you may however run into bottlenecks elsewhere, such as bandwidth limitations or congestion of the local network link.
