Typical timing errors?

Hi,

We are interested to know how big timing errors you have got in your Inquist verification tests and how the errors are distributed. This is important knowledge to know if Inquisit is enough reliable for scientific purposes. I wasn't able to find this information from your documentation.

We are especially interested to know, what's the expectable timing accuracy of our scientific setup: we are showing images at resolution 800x600 every third second. 300 milliseconds after each image appears we generate a trig pulse to the serial port.

Thanks a lot,

Jaakko

Thanks Dave, that article was really helpful. Still, I think it would be a good idea to publish also some of your own accuracy measurements.
