Redirecting from Inquisit to SurveyMonkey using Web 4.0.2

Dear all,

I am running a study over the web which starts and ends with SurveyMonkey and has an Inquisit task in the middle.  Looking at various posts (e.g. https://millisecond.com/forums/Topic1771.aspx#1771) this seems straightforward.

I have set up the first SM task, and that hands over to Inquisit really nicely: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/InquisitTest?c=a12345d.

But for some reason it doesn't seem to hand back to the next SM part when the Inquisit tasks finishes.

I have, as instructed, put the target page URL as the finish page in the Script Registration Wizard.  What else should I be looking at?

All suggestion most appreciated

Regards

Your finishpage URL is misspecified

It should be

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GP2b

NOT

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GP2b.html

as you entered. If you try to open the latter URL in any browser (no Inquisit involvement whatsoever), it will not work either.

Sadly that didn't work :(.

The webpage I get on finishing the inquisit part of the task is essentially the same as the launch page but without the start button.

I just ran your task and it successfully redirects to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GP2b?c=a12345d upon completion, i.e., it works as expected for me.

Ah - well that at least helps!  Thankyou

I shall have another look at what is not working at my end.

Let us know what you find and we'll take it from there.

Ok - so as my computer has three different web browsers, I thought I
would try it on all three.  I shut down all other programes, and set the test
browser to be my default before I started the task.

I have found out it works fine on Internet Explorer (v 9.0), but not on Chrome(v 25.0) or Firefox (v 19.0).

This seems very odd.  Any ideas?

I've tried w/ Firefox 19 among others and it definitely works for me here. No idea why it wouldn't for you.
