Participants will name a significant other in response to an open-ended question (e.g., "Joan"), and I would like to prime participants with this SO name in an Affect Misattribution Procedure. Any help would be much appreciated.

thanks,

j
RE: Using user-generated input in Qualtrics as a prime in Inquisit.

That's not possible. There is no way to get that content generated in Qualtrics over to Inquisit 3. Instead, what you should do is collect said prime in your Inquisit script (e.g. via an <openended> element) -- then the script can of course use that inpiut as a stimulus later on. You will find this covered in the "How to Present Stimuli Provided by Subjects" topic in the Inquisit documentation.
