I'm running into a problem where when I run the script, the instruction pages are riddled with question marks that are not reading the accents. Is there a line of code that helps Inquisit read it as it should? I should mention that when I launch the instruction pages as html pages on their own, everything shows up with no issues.

RE: Read HTML pages in Spanish

This is not an Inquisit issue, because Inquisit itself does not actually render HTML files. Under Windows, it uses the Internet Explorer engine to render HTML, under OSX it uses WebKit. Rather there's something wrong with the encoding of your HTML files. I'd recommend you make sure they are encoded and saved as UTF-8.<br/>
