In Inquisit 3, the stories are saved the way they are written by the subject (including german umlaute ä, ö, ü). However, in Inquisit 5 these letters are saved in a weird way. For example, the word "würde" results in wÁ1/4rde.

Does anyone know how to save the text the way it was written by the subject in Inquisit 5?

Thank you and best regards,
Jessica
RE: Problems with german Umlaute ä, ü, ö

+x
Jessica_FAU - Monday, November 5, 2018

Dear all,

For my german experiments, subjects are asked to write stories in a textbox. You can do so via FIle -> Save As... in Inquisit Lab.
