Hi Dave,
using Inquisit 5.0.11 with tobii plugin.
Can I record gaze data for trials where
/ inputdevice = keyboard
?
the trial looks like so:
<trial probe>
/stimulustimes = [1= question, reminder_pos, reminder_neg, ques]
/ inputdevice = keyboard
/ validresponse = ("A","L")
/ response = free
/ beginresponsetime = 0
/ recorddata = true
</trial>

The general inputdevice is eyetracker.

Yes, all that should be necessary for gaze data to be captured is the <eyetracker> element, the eyetracker need not be the inputdevice for a trial for data to be captured.
