There are a total of 18 trials randomized in order, and we want to program it so that the correct response is never on the same side for more than three trials in a row (e.g. the correct answer will never be on the left for more than three trials in a row). We also want there to be an even number of left and right correct answers. Is it possible to do this?

Thanks in advance!

RE: Randomizing Image Side with Conditions

+x
Alyson - 10/6/2021

Hello,

I am trying to create an experiment consisting of two images side-by-side on the screen, with the hposition of the images randomized for all trials (20% or 80%), and participants will press either the right or left arrow to select the correct image.
