I am interested in running tasks that are typically presented in controlled settings (i.e., with the Inquisit desktop version and the exact same screen sizes) through our online Inquisit license and recruit participants who work on their own home computers.  This means the tasks will be viewed on screens that vary in size, which may more may not be a confound in the resulting data (among other issues with this design).  Is there a way for Inquisit to record the screen size of the participant's computer, and perhaps any other information about how they completed the task (e.g., Internet Explorer, etc.)?

Yes. You'll want to log the display.width and display.height properties to the data file. See the documentation for the <display> and <computer> elements for other available properties you may want to log.

Some other pieces of information -- such as the type of launch method used, public IP -- are available via the "Participant Activity Logs" (https://www.millisecond.com/myaccount/reporting/rptscripts.aspx).
