Hello,

I have been reported from an academic that have access to Inquisit Web plug-in (4.0.10) problem to run her experiment in few computers.
I will attach the weblog of these three experiments.
She's already aware that she cannot test the experiment via tablet or iPhone and we have seen that the current script run only with 4.0.10. Also we adjusted the size of the image file. However I cannot explain why few people reported that they cannot run the experiment.
Do you have any idea why this happen?

Many thanks,

Elena

And which participants in the attached logs would that be, specifically? What -- if any -- are the respective error messages those participants received?

The student reported that it crashed with all participant. The academic that is supervising the student came to me to see if there was an issue with Inquisit Web....
From what she told me, they may be participant recorded at the end of June...there are many that don't have a data file. I was just wonderin also in which occasion the data files are not produce.

Here below I copied a few that I think may have been problematic, but I am not 100% sure.

Looking at the errors in the web view ( https://www.millisecond.com/myaccount/logs/errors.aspx?webscriptid=17281 ), there are a couple of things:
- Subject #191, for example, has a system with a broken graphics card driver. S/he should update the driver for Inquisit to work.

Looking at the specific errors ( https://www.millisecond.com/myaccount/logs/errors.aspx?webscriptid=17281 ), there are a couple of things:
- Subjects #191 and #48, for example, have broken graphics card drivers. They would have to update those drivers before Inquisit can work.
- Some people (e.g. subjects #217 and #196) are experiencing network timeouts, i.e. the files cannot be downloaded. This is usually caused by a slow and/or unreliable internet connection (think: weak WiFi signal) or potentially a firewall blocking traffic.
- Subjects #49 and #50 (who appear to be actually the same person, judging from the system details and proximity in time) are running things on an outdated Inquisit Web version (4.0.8.0), they should make sure to install the latest version first (4.0.10.0).

Thanks for pointing to some specific (potentially) problematic participant numbers.
#1: You say you are not sure whether those are the relevant ones / the ones the student actually meant. Is there any way to make sure?
#2: What specifically does "the student reported that it crashed with all participant[s]" mean? What precisely did the student observe (or what did the respective participants report to them, if the student was not personally present)? I'm mainly interested in what the word "crash" entails here, but also what "all participants" means in this context.
