+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+x+xHello, I seem to have an issue with my online web script. I have 3 tasks followed by a 3-question survey. One task exists in 8 version. In order to counterbalance, I have over 48 combinations of task administration, always ending with the survey. Some (about 3 of 35 now) of the participants find that Inquisit suddenly stops after their second task. Sometimes there's an error (see below), othertimes not. They don't have the same attributed group ID. Could you please explain to me why this may happen? I see it as problematic, as batch1pilot is a previous script I ran as "main script". I have since then removed it. It doesn't make any sense that it comes up as an error. Could you please help? Thank you. Elise > batch1pilot is a previous script I ran as "main script". batch1pilot one is just a descriptor in the logs because that was the original start script. To locate the issue, you need to (1) find out what the affected participant's 2nd and 3rd tasks were respectitvely, and (2) check those scripts for any issues. If the problem happens after the 2nd script, the problem is likely in the 3rd. It turns out the problematic script is the Emotional Go-NoGo taks that I downloaded from this site. It specifies : Inquisit Error: boundFBO = sfb->targetFBO()->bind() failed, Line 1136, File graphics.cpp.. Does anyone know what the problem refers to in this case? And in what way, if any, did you change the task? I translated it to French, added new titles and instructions... Then that's where I'd start looking for any issues. Okay, so I've located and looked at the logs. Unfortunately, there isn't much to go on here. First, as you already noted, the issue appears to occur in the GoNoGo. As far as I can see, the ~4 systems this occured on are all Windows 10 systems, as are most systems in the data set. Most systems don't show this issue, including the ones I'm using for testing. The problem is graphics related. What I suspect may be the case is a problem with one or more images you're using in the GoNoGo. For example, some systems -- depending on their Windows version, update status, and possibly other software running on the system -- will react badly to invalid or non-standard metadata fields in image files, and that can result in errors like that. Screening the images you're using, I'm not seeing any obvious issue (and they all work fine for me), so this is a guess based on the available information and past experience. If I'm right, running the files through a batch metadata remover should resolve the issue. However, given that only a small number of systems seem to be affected, I'm wondering whether that's worth the trouble. Thank you for your reply and taking the time to look at the logs. I was thinking of changing the file to the oldest version (ie., before I made any changes) to see whether this might also help? Otherwise I will try removing metadata, as sometimes for some participants, the application suddenly stops when the GoNoGo comes next, but they do not see any error pop up... Thank you! > for some participants, the application suddenly stops when the GoNoGo comes next Hmm, do you happen to know some of the participant numbers for whom this happened? This might provide another lead as to what may be going on. Thank you! Various answers: Some say they cannot access the test phase after practice. Others say the application just shuts down. Sometimes, giving them a new participant number and asking them to click only once on "start" and then on "open Inquisit" actually helps. For one person, this hasn't helped though (eg. originally 47, I then gave her 252).. I feel like perhaps they're opening too many browsers or sessions? So, participant 47/252 would seem to be one to be affected by the issue discussed from the start i.e. that shows up in the logs and doesn't give us more to go on, I'm afraid. (It's good to know that this is the same participant and presumably the same Windows 10 machine, however.) > Some say they cannot access the test phase after practice. Can you elaborate on that? This is in the GoNoGo, right? But what does "cannot access" mean? I.e. they press space to advance and nothing happens, or things shut down when Inquisit tries to run the first test trial? The latter would be consistent with some kind of problem in the image files used during the test phase.

Thanks for the IDs. 220 is among those captured in the logs. For 161, I see a successful completion of all tasks (no apparent errors). For 59, it looks like they completed the GoNoGo fine, followed by the Nback just fine, and then some issue occured; i.e. on first glance this one looks different than the others. Similarly for 236. Completed the TS task fine, completed the GoNoGo fine, then some issue after that (unclear what, the logs show no further entries for 236).
