Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to automatically redirect participants to a website URL after they are done with a task script, and make them come back to Inquisit for a second part of the study as part of a batch script. How do I get it to automatically redirect them to the URL, and once they come back from the separate website, will the batch script allow them to resume from where they left off?

You need to set up a batch script with two batch elements assigned by session number (/sessions attribute). At the end of the first batch you se the URL to redirect (defaults.finishpage) /onscriptend to send them to the external site.
The external site then needs to redirect back to your launch page so the second session can be administered.

I attached the batch script Inquisit link at the end of the external site, but instead of administering the second session, they are redirected back to the first session. Could you let me know what might be the issue

For that you will have to provide the link.
