Hi,

I am using the script for the dot probe task available in the library, but am having some difficulty interpreting the output. Based on the Macleod et al., 2007 paper, the threat bias index is computed by subtracting the median response time to probes presented in the vicinity of threat words from the median response time to probres presented in the vicinity of non- threat words.

The output is presented with the following columns

datetimesubjectbuildblocknumtrialnumblockcodetrialcodelatencyinwindowstimulusnumber1stimulusitem1stimulusvpos1stimulushpos1stimulusonset1stimulusnumber2stimulusitem2stimulusvpos2stimulushpos2stimulusonset2stimulusnumber3stimulusitem3stimulusvpos3stimulushpos3stimulusonset3

any advice on how to calculate these median response times would be greatly appreciated!

You do so using your preferred statistical analysis software. For an introduction, see Lacroix & Giguere (2006).
