Look at the <block> elements' /trials attributes, otherwise see the comments in the scripts. Please work through the tutorials in the documentation first to get aacquire at least a little background re. Inquisit syntax / setting up experiments with it.

Finally please note that (a) you usually are not going to get much usable data with only 20 trials and (b) there is a reason why tasks are as long as they are.

Hi all,

I know very little about programming, and am in desperate need of your help in solving this issue.

I am using the tests Stroop, Go/no go and Arrow-Flanker test for my master thesis, and would like to limit the number of trials to, say, 20 for each test. Right now they are much longer.

Is there any way that one can choose the number of trials in the script?

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be of great help to me. Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge of programming language, but I will try to follow any advice as best I can.

Kindest regards,

Ida
