First make sure your system's Java Runtime Environment is up to date. Also, instead of launching the script via Java, try the alternative Firefox / Chrome plugin.

I recently purchased an Inquisit web license and was unable to run the script I uploaded. I tried running various demos in the task library, on various browsers (safari, chrome, mozilla) and nothing worked. Sometimes nothing happened at all when I clicked "start", and other times I would get an error message that said "RunScriptFile not a function".
I did try to run my script on another computer, and it worked perfectly. So, how do I fix this on my computer, and will this potentially be an issue for participants (that is, will some just not be able to run the experiment on their computers)?
