Here too, I unfortunately don't understand. Does it crash or fail to load? If it crashes, how exactly? And if it crashes, what's there to force quit?
Re. total files size etc.: Yes there is a limit, because distributing hundreds of megabytes to each and every client is not very practical. Loading will take a very long time and may likely fail for anyone on a slow or unreliable internet connection. It is technically feasible, though, so the script should eventually run once it has fetched all files. Again, that may take a long time, so you may want to leave your machine alone for a while. Regardless, I would highly recommend reducing file sizes as much as possible for web use.
