Dear all,

I was wondering whether you can use the voicerecord data with inquisit online? I see that a file is being created. That is, I see a file name in the dataset. But i can't find the files.

Best and thanks!

Tom

Yes and no. If you specify a save location *on the local machine* in your script, it might work (I have not actually tried). This would be suitable for a lab setting where you have full control over the machines.

For machines not under your control, the answer is no. Recordings would be created in the system's temp folder, but not pushed to the server -- it would easily amount to uploading hundreds of MB per machine. Plus, with machines you don't control there's no telling if they are suitable for voice recording at all (microphone attached, proper leveling, etc.).
