Hi everyone,

I am running a script where I am presenting a series of pictures for Ps to view and rate. I have a set of 20 images in two different categories which are presented randomly, but I would like to record in the datafile which image was actually presented on each trial. Can anyone please let me know how to do that? I was unable to find it in any of the other documentation.

Thank you,

Marina

Inquisit will record that information *by default* (i.e., if no <data> element is present) in one of the data file's stimulusitem columns. If you cannot find that information, you have misspecified your script's <data> element and need to add the proper amount of stimulusitem columns or other properties of interest. You will find all of this covered in the documentation for the <data> element's /columns attribute and the documentation topic for Inquisit's default data recording scheme.
