When running Inquisit Lab on a Mac, I have been unable to get the slider control to show tooltips, regardless of the setting of "/showtooltips".  Can anyone else confirm this as a bug?

AFAIK not a bug but a technical limitation in OSX: Available slider controls (NSSlider / UISlider) on OSX don't natively support displaying tooltips like Windows does. Maybe at some point we can work around this via a custom implementation of slider controls, but that unfortunately can't happen over night.

Hope this helps.

Hi Dave,

does a workaround for this problem exist already? This would be really helpful for a routine we are currently running in our lab. The tooltips would be essential.

Best Regards

I would like to refresh this question.

Do anyone have idea how to show slider tooltips on mac?
Maybe some workaround was developed over time?

Mayby this might be somehow configured on MAC?

Thank for any help

No, there is no workaround that I am aware of.
