Millisecond is pleased to announce the release of Inquisit 4.0.4. This is a free update to all Inquisit 4 license holders.

With this release, we've added a number of features and enhancements, including:

Support for PCI/PCI Express parallel port cards on Mac OS X
You can now send and receive TTL signals on a parallel port with Inquisit on your Mac! Use your Mac to synchronize stimulus presentation with EEG, fMRI, eye trackers, or other neurophysiological measurement devices, or with custom button boxes that plug into the parallel port.

Parallel port time logging tool
We've added a handy tool for time logging signals received through a parallel port. This is useful for auditing timing performance as well as troubleshooting parallel port communication issues.

Enhanced participant tracking for web studies
Last month we released a new feature on our web site that enables researchers totrack progress of participants through their web studies. This release provides enhancements to the tracking system, including logging any Inquisit errors encountered by participants while they attempted to run a study as well as whether they successfully reached the finish page at the end of the study.

Numerous bug fixes and stabilization improvements
The Inquisit 4 code base continues to mature as we've found and fixed dozens of bugs, many reported from our rapidly growing community of Inquisit 4 users. To those who have reported issues, thank you for helping us improve our software!

See our release notes for a complete list of features and fixes.

You'll find Inquisit 4.0.4 on our download page

Cheers,
The Millisecond Team
