Hey,
I have an experiment that is built out of several tasks and a survey that i created.
I've grouped them all under a Batch element.
Now, I want to present the user with an instructions screen before the survey starts, to explain a little bit about the experiment. I didn't find any way to include a clean instruction page inside the survey. Is there a way to include it in the batch? even as a separate file ? I need one in the beginning of the batch and one in the end. Is there a way to create a script that is just a screen with text?

Thanks!

Yes. Put your instructions in separate scripts (via the usual means) and run those at the appropriate time in the <batch> element (i.e., one at the beginning, the other at the end).

that's exactly my questions. do you have a template of instructions on a separate script?

I don't think you need a template. It's no different than displaying instructions in scripts which do other things besides just displaying instructions. You'll find this covered, among other places, in the tutorials contained in the Inquisit documentation.
