Hello,

I am wondering if anyone else on here has experienced a glitch like I am, or may know the cause of the issue.

Radiobuttons are what you use when you want participants to pick one and only one answer from a list of answers, right? Usually, if a participant selects one answer, then changes their mind and selects another, the radiobutton they originally picked ceases to be highlighted (be blue) and the radiobutton now highlighted is the newest answer, am I correct?

If I am wrong, let me know, but I thought that's how radiobuttons worked. That's how it works on most computers, except for mine. The survey I have been working on lets me pick both yes and no, or all of the answers available, and the data reported isn't even close to right (although it still shows an answer). Is it because I am working off of the trial version? Is my computer too old and beaten up? Does Inquisit not work well on Macs? Has anyone experienced this before (a forum search gave me nothing)?

Any insight you guys have would be great. I have no idea what's going on.

Dave

Is your Inquisit installation up to date (4.0.5.0 at the time of writing). AFAIK, Apple has been changing around the way radiobuttons work in OSX quite a bit. Specifically, on older versions (10.7.x) this led to the possibility of selecting more than one option. However, this should not be the case with 4.0.5.0 which includes a workaround for this inconsistent platform behavior. If it still doesn't work for you after updating, please report the exact OSX version you are running and provide an example script that shows the issue on your system. Thanks.
