error downloading Inquisit 4 on participant's computer (running windows xp)

Group: Forum Members Posts: 8, Visits: 23	Hello, Just wondering if Inquisit 4 Web is compatible with Windows XP. A participant is unable to download the plugin and gets the error message "application cannot execute". Any help appreciated! Thanks

Group: Administrators Posts: 13K, Visits: 108K	In general, yes, Inquisit 4 is compatible with Windows XP. The participant in question may be using an outdated browser, JRE or suffer from an otherwise broken (browser or system) configuration. The first thing I would recommend is directing her / him to try a launching using a different (current) browser and/or launch method.
