Inquisit communicates with external equipment primarily via TTL signals sent through a system's parallel port -- you'll usually want to use a LapLink-style cable to connect PC and external device. Other options re. interfacing include serial ports or XID via a Cedrus StimTracker. All of these options you will find detailed in the Inquisit documentation. Specifically see the "How to"-section (e.g. "How to Present TTL Signals Through the Parallel Port") and the language reference for the <port> element. As to the signals your external equipment expects as well as its interfacing options and settings, please consult the documentation as provided by the device manufacturer / vendor (e.g. http://forum.adinstruments.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=315 )

Hi there,

I need Inquisit to communicate with powerLab. I was wondering if there is a specific cable that is used to connect these systems?

Thanks!
