Millisecond Forums

Is there a way to notify participants when they have skipped a survey item that's not required but still allow them to proceed without answering it?  Some pop-up message or something like that?  Basically, we want to give participants the option to skip, but want to give them a heads up in case skipping the question was unintentional.
