We are using a standard picture IAT script and have collected raw data for a few participants. In our raw data, it shows a "correct" column with either a 0 or a 1 and a "latency" column to the right of it. In the latency column, there are numbers varying from 1 to about 300. We are wondering what exactly these numbers mean and how they can be interpreted in our results.

The latency column represents reaction time / response latency in a given trial. Similarly, the correct column represents whether the (initial) submitted response was correct (1) or not (0). You do not interpret raw data in IATs. Instead you calculate the so-called D-score from it (see Greenwald et al., 2003). Note that the IAT scripts available via the Task Library all calculate D-scores automatically and log those to the data file.
