Hi,

I have a hybrid with a cosmic resolution (3200x1800) and I tried to set up a smaller one with /displaymode command in <defaults>, however I got a response that this is "an obsolete command and will be ignored". Is there any other way of changing screen resolution?

Best,
Jacek

/displaymode is obsolete because graphics driver support for resolution change has been scant & not very robust for a long time. Thus, you cannot change display resolution via Inquisit. What you can do, is either use the <defaults> element's /windowsize attribute or /canvassize and /canvasaspectratio to define a specific / specifically sized (sub-)region of the display.

No bother, I changed the screen resolution on the system level. I think Inquisit would not override the system default resolution anyway.
