Hi Dave,

I'm a bit confused by the documentation so I thought I'd drop a line and see if I can clear this up. Is it possible to create a slider in Inquisit that lies vertically instead of horizontally? Or perhaps you have another suggestion?

We're trying to administer the MacArthur ladder scale in an online format as true to the measure as we can. It involves a picture of a ladder and a participant putting an X on the rung of the ladder the believe they lie on. A slider would be the easiest way we can think of to do this, unless you have another idea.

Let me know if was clear, and if you think you're able to help at all, and thank you for your time,

Tori

Yes, the <slider> element has an /orientation attribute which you may set to either vertical or horizontal.
