If i use a protected Audio-format like MP3 with Inquisit, do i need to pay royalties or is that cost already covered because Milliseconds has a licence?

If not, does Inquisit support any free compressed formats like Vorbis or FLAC?

Inquisit does not include any media codecs. It uses the ones available on the system. Virtually all systems, by default, will have proper codecs available for MP3. More exotic formats such as FLAC will only work if a suitable codec is available on the system.
