How do you do endlock in Inquisit 4?

Used to have it in the defaults, no longer seems to work.

That's correct. The /endlock attribute has been deprecated in Inquisit 4 and is no longer available.

If you require something akin to an /endlock, run a standard <trial> or <openended> element at the end of the experiment that accepts some input unknown to subjects / only known to the experimenter.
