Preliminaries:
#1: Make sure your Inquisit installation is up to date. The current Inquisit 4 release is 4.0.9.0, available via https://www.millisecond.com/download/ .
#2: Make sure you have proper codecs required for rendering the specific video format installed (when in doubt about which codecs you might need, installing a codec pack such as K-Lite is an option; http://www.codecguide.com ). Alternatively, convert the video to a different format (e.g. WMV for use under Windows, MOV for use under OSX) and check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists after those steps, please provide the following:
- What are the specific video formats you tried?
- Under what operating system (type and version) are you seeing the issue.
- If possible, a short bit of self-contained example code that produces the issue when run on your system.
- If possible, a screen shot or two illustrating the issue.

Thanks.

Hello,

I am using a video in one of my blocks, however, there is a black spot in all subsequent blocks where the video used to be that makes the rest of the experiment very difficult to read. How can I get rid of this?

Thanks.
