Hello,
Our lab is exploring the possibility of using the Inquisit 5 color word speech recognition online web script to collect verbal stroop data on a large scale, such that participants can access the program from their computers at home through one of our lab servers and have the data be directly uploaded to the server upon completion. We are wondering whether anyone has achieved this goal in past studies, and whether this software produces feasible results and can adapt to the varying microphone set-ups of people's remote computers reliably enough to produce valid data. Please let me know if you can speak to this, or have had experience trying to get this type of project to work.
