Keystroke Dynamics in Inquisit 4

Group: Forum Members Posts: 51, Visits: 256	Hello, I know that Inquisit offer some text input method like open ended or text box, but it is possible to record details of each key press during text typing?. I would like to do experiment with keystroke dynamic thus I need to record: Dwell time - as duration that a each key is pressed Flight time - as duration in between releasing one key and pressing the next key It is possible to record this information when participant is typing some text in Inquisit script? Group: Administrators Posts: 13K, Visits: 104K	To do this you would have to capture each key stroke / release using a standard <trial> (looped until some event occurs that indicates the end of the typing), translate the scancodes back to letters (by constructing some kind of lookup-table), and display that on-screen. In other words, it's doable but not exactly straightforward.
