how to use a GIF picture

I want to use a picture which format is GIF. Just the first frame is shown. I cannot see the a sets of frames. Can you help me?

I'm not sure, but I think you'll have to pull out the frames as individual JPGs using some image editing software. You could then present the frames as individual stimuli and control the animation timing using \stimulustimes or \stimulusframes.

That's correct. The multi-image GIF concept doesn't really fit into Inquisit's timing scheme, so you should present them as separate images.
