Hello everybody,

is there a way to play the test that I have prepared on my web license to display on my lab accounts, so that several people can take part in the survey from the same computer (lab experiment). Also, the survey is in Unipark web but the experiement im doing (lexical decision task), I´m using inquisit.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you so much,
Julia

I'm afraid I don't understand the question. If you have a script that works in Inquisit Web, you can of course administer it using Inquisit Lab. I don't see a reason why you would want to do that, though. Inquisit Web will run on a lab computer just as well as it will on a participant's private computer. And since you also want people to fill out an online Unipark survvey, the lab machines apparently have internet access, i.e., nothing should prevent you from using Inquisit Web on those machines.

Hello and thank you for your answer. I guess I should have made it more clear: I have several problems running my experiment, which is basically a mix out of unipark and inquisit.

When running it from my web license I can only run it once from the computers in my lab- Im guessing because I can only run it from one IP address once.
The other problem is that I need five different versions of my survey, but I can only access one on my web license..

I would a) like to be able to run all five versions at the same time and b) run what I have on my web license on the lab. But I dont know how to go about this.

I hope this clarified my problem a bit more..

Thank you very much!

> When running it from my web license I can only run it once from the computers in my lab- Im guessing because I can only run it from one IP address once.

That is not the case. What you will have to do, however, is refresh / reload the launch page between each run.

> The other problem is that I need five different versions of my survey, but I can only access one on my web license.

Since those surveys are in Unipark, not Inquisit, I don't understand what this has to do with your web license.

Thank you for that!
Regarding the second point:

> The other problem is that I need five different versions of my survey, but I can only access one on my web license.

The problem here is that Im running my experiment (manipulation and a following lexical decision task) in Inquisit. I have 5 different manipulations, which I want to randomly distribute to the test persons. So im assuming I can only run one experiments or one task at a time with one license, is this correct?

Thank you!

I still don't understand what the external surveys have to do with your Inquisit Web license.
It is also not true that you are confined to a single manipulation with a single web license. You can administer as many different manipulations as you need by using e.g. <batch> elements. You can even assign participants to completely different scripts with a single web license.
