Hi,
I am setting up a series of Inquisit tasks (From a Windows 10-running PC) that will be connected to a EEG recording platform (Natus Quantum). I'm new to Inquisit and Natus so I'm struggling even more on finding a way to connect them. The goal is to be able to mark the EEG data on the Natus at the moment that a task is completed by the participant during the Inquisit task. We're starting rather simple and running a type of survey. At the end of the experiment, we'd want a piece of EEG data from before and after participants answered each of the questions so that we could analyze EEG patterns during the decision process.
I've initially thought that the physical link would be from the DB9 port on the back of he PC to the DB15 on the Natus would be the way to do this. I've looked at the Inquisit port functions, but am still confused on how to send (or more importantly receive) information that leads to the EEG being recorded to have a new mark when the button was pressed.
I hope this makes sense to someone here, or that someone has used the Natus recording device before! Thanks!
