Hi,

I normally use the affective priming experiment, but now have a need for a different design.

The design would be as follows:
Following baseline trials, in the experimental set the prime flashed before the target (that is an image). The target is then sorted into on of two categories at the top left / right  (e.g. brand A on right and brand B on left).

However, I would like to know if it is possible to have different brands defined as categories in the same experiment (e.g. in one trial Brand A appears on top left and Brand B on top right) but in another trial the brands change to Brand A and Brand C.

If the design above can be done, please advise priming script would be easiest for me to work with as I am a total novice.

Thank you!

That is certainly possible, and all you need to do is define separate <trial> elements for the different combinations of brands, i.e. one <trial> for brand A + brand B, another one for the combination of brand A and brand C. Then sample from those trials as needed in your <block>.
