Hello,
I would like to know if it was possible that 2 blocks could be played at the same time. One must be a block containing images and the other sound. The subtlety being that sounds must not be presented at the same rhythm as images.

No, running two blocks concurrently is categorically not possible. What you can possibly do is play back the sound in the background of the <block> displaying the images, per that block's /bgstim attribute.
