Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to superimpose two images on top of each other and vary the degree to which they are transparent. Specifically, is there an attribute or some other way to manipulate the % of overlap?
Thanks for your help.

No, there isn't an attribute to vary transparency -- what you can do, however, is use PNG images with varying degrees of transparency, see e.g.
